After publication of the protocol by Brazilian Ministry of Health, for VSR prevention, it was necessary to structure a care network to access the Palivizumab, to the prevention of virus infection, in children at higher risk of complication of the disease. Method: Experience report on the process of creating the Palivizumabe’s service network, identifying the results obtained after its implementation in the state of Bahia, in the period from 2014 to 2017. Results: After the expansion in the number of dispensing units, a 316% increase in the number of patients seen between 2014 and 2017 was observed. The network design involves public and private units, interdisciplinary articulation, from the scope of Health Department of the State of Bahia to as service units, which made possible an expansion of the dispensing units, the consolidation of the flow, the same in the municipal administration and philanthropic hospitals. The multidisciplinary team was articulated in the process of evaluation and patient care, directly in the unit, not requiring the administrative request of the drug by the patient in the Health Department of the State of Bahia, reducing the time between the request and evaluation of the drug and the patient care. Conclusion: The existence of new dispensing poles contributed to the expansion of the number of users benefited, also reflecting the reduction of lawsuits.
